Incognito mode – private browsing in Google Chrome

How to go incognito on Google Chrome

The easiest way to enable Incognito in Google Chrome – use shortcut:

Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows)

⌘ + Shift + N (Mac)

You can also open a new window in incognito mode using the menu Google Chrome:

How to make Google Chrome incognito default

If you want to incognito opened immediately when you start the browser, you should go to the properties of the shortcut Google Chrome, which is located on the desktop or Quick Launch bar. (If it is on the Quick Launch toolbar, you should hold down Shift, when open context menu).

Look for the “object” about the following line:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”

At the end should be added -incognito

It should look like this:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” –incognito

Save the settings.

Now when you start Google Chrome it will always open incognito mode.

If you want to get everything back to its original state, simply delete -incognito and save the settings.
